In West Zone Championships, Santa Clara Artistic Swimming competes with teams from five states. This is a qualifying competition in order to participate at the USA Juniors and 13-15 National Championships. Santa Clara Artistic Swimming participated with athletes in all event for Juniors and team, duet and solo for the 13-15 age group.
Juniors
Team: 1st place and qualifying for USA Junior National Championships.
Combo: 1st place and qualifying for USA Junior National Championships.
Duet: 2nd place for Chiara Steel & Marilyn Weaver, 3rd place for Hailee Heinrich & Audrey Nguyen and 6th place for Brianna & Rachel Holmes. All Santa Clara Artistic Swimming members Junior duet qualified to USA Junior National Championships.
Solo: 2nd place for Chiara Steele and 7th place for Olivia Schafer. Both swimmers qualified to USA Junior National Championships.
13-15
Team: 2nd place for our A-team and 5th place for our B-team. Both teams qualified to USA Junior National Championships.
Duet: 1st place for Yujin Chang & Emily Ding, 2nd place for Riley Morgan & Claire Kim, 7th place Katherine Li & Selina Nakari, 10th place for Gianna Bonacorso & Perry Daniel, 18th place for Janneke Dirven & Michaella Hofstedt, and 19th place for Hannah Ip & Anna Shukhter. Duets placed 10 and above qualified to USA Junior National Championships.
Solo: 1st place for Claire Kim, 3rd place for Riley Morgan, 11th place for Gianna Bonacorso, and 15th place for Perry Daniels. Claire, Riley and Gianna qualified to USA Junior National Championships in Solo.
